The Kogi Branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society pay an advocacy visit to Ikumo Community, in Kogi Local Government Areas of Kogi State. Yesterday the The 14th February 2022. Ikumo Community have above 2,000 thousand people including the men, children and women who are more in number in the Community. During the advocacy visit the Branch Secretary, Alhaji Dan Usman sensitized the Community on the history, activities and the seven principles of the Nigerian Red Cross Society ( Humanity,Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary service,Unity,and University) that every good Volunteers need to in bibe while carrying out Red Cross activities. Furthermore; the BS said the purpose of the visit is to unveil the ONE BILLION COLLATION PROJECT starting with Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) and having Flood Resilient plan for the community.
